Betty E. Baker

Betty E. Baker, 87, of Valencia died Thursday evening at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate in Somerset.

Born Sept. 17, 1919, in Confluence, Pa., she was the daughter of Charles B. and Erma Flanigan Humbert.

She was a member of Valencia United Methodist Church, Valencia Historical Society, Turkeyfoot Valley Historical Society, Mars Chapter 271 Order of the Eastern Star, and Great Crossings Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution.

Surviving are her sisters, Marjorie Frantz of Confluence and Patricia Beggs and her husband, Richard, of Kutztown; a sister-in-law, Ruth Hubert of Confluence; nephews Gregory Frantz and his wife, Karen, of Somerset, Gary Frantz and his wife, Jane, of Roslyn Farms, and Max Humbert and his wife, Barbara, of Confluence; and a niece, Tracey Kelly and her husband, Gregg, of Trappe. She is also survived by six great nieces, and a great nephew, and her extended family, Steve, Lori, Christopher and Casey Boggs of Valencia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E. M. Baker; a brother, Norton Humbert, and a brother-in-law, G.A. Frantz.

<B>BAKER</B> — Friends of Betty E. Baker, who died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, will be received at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Dr. Richard Morledge and the Rev. Beverly M. Gross, pastor of the Valencia United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be in Mt.
