Catherine GreenBarg

Catherine M. GreenBarg, 81, of 715 W. Penn St. died Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Born in Meadville, May 1, 1923, she was the daughter of Howard and Lucille Reynolds Houston.

She was a homemaker. She worked for the Butler School District from 1976 to 1982, and in her earlier years, she had been a secretary at Heckett Engineering and Ivywood Coal Co. She was a 1941 graduate of Butler High School.

Mrs. GreenBarg was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Rose, and her second husband, Nathan GreenBarg.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Pam) Scott of Meridian; two sons, William Rose of Arizona and Bruce GreenBarg of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Karl (Thelma) Baldauf and Mrs. James (Shirley) McKinney; and a brother, Howard L. Houston. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Billy Rose, Barbara Parsons, Nicole and Krista Scott and Alex GreenBarg; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Parsons and Marissa Jean Olson.

GREENBARG - Friends of Catherine M. GreenBarg, who died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev.
