FRANKLIN — Police in northwestern Pennsylvania allege a man who tampered with a pair of emergency rescue vehicles ended up disabling them.

John A. Wilson, 19, of Franklin was arraigned Friday on charges including reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

Police say Wilson was working at the Venango County Airport on Dec. 19 when he entered two fire rescue crash trucks without permission.

According to the Erie Times-News, investigators say Wilson tampered with numerous switches, controls and pump panels.

PITTSBURGH — Authorities say a house fire has killed two people in suburban Pittsburgh, and relatives say the victims are 3-year-old twins.The blaze in North Braddock broke out Friday afternoon. Officials say a passer-by saw flames, banged on the doors and called 911.Allegheny County emergency services Chief Alvin Henderson confirmed two bodies have been found, but he would not identify them.Darran Miller says the victims are his godsons. He says the boys were beautiful and smart.
