Walter J. Rzepinski, 85, of Sarver died Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.

Born Dec. 15, 1921, in Kelcia, Poland, he was the son of Joseph and Appolonia Rzepinski.

He ran heavy equipment for US Steel before retiring in 1982.

Mr. Rzepinski was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

He enjoyed all work, especially in his yard and garden, and the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Aurella Madey Rzepinski, whom he married June 2, 1956; two sons, Mark and David (Kim) Rzepinski, both of Sarver; and nieces and nephews in Poland.

A sister preceded him in death.
