9:45 a.m. Saturday - Anthony Hoskinson, 31, of 326 W. Cunningham St., Apt. 1 was arrested for allegedly assaulting Juanita Money, 38, during a domestic dispute at the woman's Shore Street apartment. Hoskinson is charged with simple assault and harassment.2:32 a.m. Saturday - Brian Nash, 23, of 204 Willow Drive, Cranberry Township, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and other charges following an altercation at the Cigarette Shop parking lot on West Jefferson Street.Brandi Sarver of Butler said she was pulling into the parking lot as Nash was pulling out when the two vehicles nearly collided. Sarver said Nash got out of his vehicle and they exchanged words before the defendant pulled out a knife and threatened her and a passenger in her car.In addition to DUI, Nash is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.11:30 p.m. Friday - Cars driven by Robert Draper, 28, of Jefferson Township and Kristen Simmers, 21, of Butler collided at East Brady and North Monroe streets.8:29 p.m. Friday - Two suspects were arrested after allegedly leaving the Kmart store at Pullman Square with a shopping cart full of items valued at $351 for which they had not paid.Robert Campbell, 48, of 362 Moran Road and Billie Jo Henry, 30, of 208 Cornetti Road, both of Clearfield Township, are charged with retail theft and conspiracy. Additionally, Campbell is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

3:45 a.m. Sunday - Robert Jamison, 50, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a utility pole along Route 268 in Karns City. Police said Jamison did not stop after the crash, which left the severed pole with low hanging wires across the road.Police followed a trail of leaking vehicle fluid to Jamison's home where he was arrested.1:53 a.m. Sunday - Michael Kriess, 30, of Evans City was arrested for driving under the influence on New Castle Road near King's Restaurant in Butler Township.1:30 a.m. Sunday - William Saunders, 24, of Greenville, Mercer County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 near Ghost Riders in Center Township.6:24 a.m. Saturday - No injuries were reported when a car caught fire on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Driver Stacy Heaney, 24, of New Castle was cited for driving with a suspended license and false reports to law enforcement authorities. No other information about the incident was available this morning.

7:38 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle driven by Barbara Philie, 58, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, struck a vehicle driven by Mark Restori, 42, of Sarver on Route 28 in O'Hara Township, Allegheny County. Philie's car, following the collision struck another vehicle, driven by Tracy Edwards, 42, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County.Philie, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where she was treated for chest injuries and released.

2:40 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Lois Kays, 73, of Mercer struck the rear of a car, driven by Kenneth Gerwick, 74, of Mercer at Route 58 and George Junior Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Kays, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
