10:45 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Alvin Cornell, 79, struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on Route 68 in Forward Township. The collision forced the SUV, driven by Joseph Hartman Sr., 63, of Butler into a car driven by Jeanette Lester, 44, of Evans City.2:19 a.m. Wednesday — Wesley Eric Graham, 46, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Saxony Estates in Jefferson Township.Wednesday — Emily Fury of Ellwood City reported that between 10:45 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday her maroon, 1994 Geo Prizim was stolen from the Ivy Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.1:45 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Hazel Conrad, 73, of Chicora crossed over St. Joe Road and struck a rock in Oakland Township. Police said Conrad was cited for driving too fast for conditions.12:47 p.m. Tuesday — An SUVdriven by Rachel Otte, 49, of Evans City and a pickup truck driven by Lisa Dittman, 35, of Chicora collided on Evans City Road in Forward Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Police said Otte was cited for driving too fast for conditions.12:20 p.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Heather Bane, 20, of East Brady, Clarion County, skidded on ice and struck another car on Route 68 in Oakland Township. Police said Bane was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Sandra Hinterlang, 50, of Butler was driving the other car.10:28 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by David G. Matthews Jr., 32, of Pittsburgh struck an embankment on snow-covered Branchton Road in Cherry Township.9:50 a.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Violet Ray, 76, and Jessica Bartman, 17, both of Butler, collided on Route 8 at Sunset Drive in Center Township. Police said Ray was cited for failing to yield the right of way.5:18 p.m. Jan. 18 — Acar driven by David Gribik, 39, of Gibsonia and a pickup truck driven by Joseph Singer, 44, of Monaca, Beaver County, collided on Route 528 in Brady Township.6:57 p.m. Jan. 14 — An SUVdriven by Bonnie Schaefer, 47, of Grove City crashed into a tree along Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.

3:55 p. m. Wednesday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Albinus Faraone, 76, of Tionesta, Forest County, and Jack Rankin, 50, of Rimersburg collided on Route 338 in Beaver Township. Police said Faraone faces an undisclosed traffic violation.

Thursday — Assorted underground wire, wire coating and aluminum downspouts and coil stock, worth a combined $1,410 was stolen between Jan. 3 and Thursday from the site of a new home construction on Irishtown road near Staffordshire Court in Pine Township.
