Smith 90th birthday
Lucille Smith of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday.
The former Lucille Hinterlang was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Donegal Township. She married the late Dale Smith on Oct. 6, 1943, at St. Wendelin Church.
She has six children, Sally Ann Bulger of Lexington, Va., Robert Smith of Kittanning, John Smith and Mark Smith, both of Herman, and Janice Groschen and Karen Williams, both of Underhill Center, Vt.
She also has 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One granddaughter is deceased.
Smith retired from Magnetics in East Butler in 1987. She was also employed by Castle Rubber.
Mrs. Smith is a volunteer with the Butler County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and in 2002 she was the Volunteer of the Year.
She is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Herman and St. Mary’s Christian Mothers
