Slippery Rock University will require everyone to wear face coverings while indoors on campus, according to a Thursday letter from university president Bill Behre.

In the letter, Behre references the CDC reports, which indicate Allegheny and Butler counties are considered to be areas of “substantial transmission” related to the COVID-19 virus, as the reason behind his decision.

Face covering will be required for all students, staff, faculty and visitors regardless of vaccination status inside all university buildings.
