PORTERSVILLE — Aspaghetti dinner and benefit will be held from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Portersville Fire Hall, Route 488. The dinner will include a Chinese auction, raffles, live music and karaoke.

The event will benefit the family of Paul Fullwood, who is battling lung cancer.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children age 12 and younger and free for children age 2 and younger. Tickets are available at the door or by calling 724-368-2018.

The Bartramian Audubon Society is seeking scholarship applicants for the 2007 Giant Eagle Maine Audubon Camp, Workshop for Educators in Hog Island, Maine and Take PART for teens and researchers at High Pond Audubon Camp in Vermont.The scholarship covers the cost of the camp excluding the registration fee, which may be reimbursed to scholarship winners who share their experiences at a Bartramian Audubon Society meeting.Applications are due Dec. 15.
