Fallecker

Lewis A.‘Louie' Fallecker, 49, of Butler died Tuesday evening at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh from injuries he received in an automobile accident.

He was born in Butler on May 10, 1961, a son of the late Vincent L. and Germaine Morin Fallecker.

Louie was a bricklayer and masonry worker, and he had worked for his union and various contactors in the area.

He had attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Herman, was a member of the Roman Catholic Men's Club, the Harry Hunters Sportsmen's Club, Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club and Camp Nine in Cameron County.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and NASCAR fan, enjoyed golf and fishing and had belonged to the County Horseshoe League.

He is survived by one son, Joshua Fallecker; three brothers, Vincent M. Fallecker and his wife, Mary, of Tucson, Ariz.; Eric Fallecker and his wife, Beth, of Tucson, Ariz.; and Douglas Fallecker and his wife, Kim, of Fenelton; five sisters, Bernadette Schnur and her husband, Dess, of Butler; Judy Pappalard and her husband, Denny, of Allison Park; Rose Marie Fallecker of East Butler; Donna Fallecker and Joyce Schnur, both of Butler; two granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>FALLECKER</B> — Friends of Lewis A. “Louie” Fallecker, who died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev. Mark Carter will officiate. Following cremation, inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.Military honors will be provided at the church by the Ceremonial Honor Squad of VFW Post 249, Butler and the American Legion Post 778, Lyndora.
