2:53 a.m. Thursday — Jesse Gardner, 32, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after hispickup truck struck four vehicles parked on East Jefferson Street before hitting a front porch at 827 E. Jefferson St. Gardner was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.

5:55 p.m. Thursday — A collision between two vehicles on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township ended with Saxonburg firefighters called in to put out a fire that erupted in one of the vehicles.The crash occurred after a sport utility vehicle driven by Paul Millen, 83, of Jefferson Township struck a deer and then stopped on the road. Police said a car driven by Amber Redick, 25, of Jefferson Township then struck the rear of the SUV, resulting in the car igniting in fire. No injuries were reported.Thursday — Delmar Silk, no age given, of Butler was arrested for allegedly leaving threatening messages on the voicemails of two women at a Marshal Alley home in Forward Township. Silk was arraigned on a charge of terrorist threats and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.12:30 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Angela Ditullio, 30, of Butler struck the rear of a pickup truck stopped at the intersection of Route 68 and Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. Mary Fierst, no age given, was driving the pickup.

Dec. 22 — An undisclosednumber of DVDs were stolen and walls vandalized in a burglary between 6 and 11 p.m. at the Mehard Avenue home of Brandi Holtz in Pine Township, Mercer County.
