SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock High School in conjunction with Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation will present “Suessical,” a musical based on the works of Dr. Suess, at 7 p.m. April 7, 8 and 9 in the high school auditorium, 201 Kiester Road.

Tickets are available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays at the high school activity office, from 5 to 7 p.m. weeknights in the high school lobby and at the door the nights of the show.

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and other characters from the whimsical imagination of children's author Dr. Seuss come together in this musical featuring a score by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Lori Giesler is the director, Mary Messer, the producer and Kevin Shields the vocal director/accompanist.

Les Fine is the orchestra director, Anna Beech is the choreographer and Morgan Lindey is the stage manager.
