Sort of like Charlie Batch was on Sunday for the Steelers.

Yours truly went 11-1 last week and ran my record to a gaudy 36-11.

Like Batch, I am a wily veteran, ready to make more smart decisions this week.

Shaler 29, Butler 10 — I'm running out of ways to explain why Butler is going to lose. Suffice it to say, rebuilding is a long and slow process. Success this season for Butler can't be measured on the scoreboard.But since making prognostication does require predicting the numbers on the scoreboard, here is my best guess.•

North Allegheny 42, Seneca Valley 14 — I feel for the Raiders. With quarterback Donny Holl out for the rest of the season, this could be a long year for Seneca Valley.•

Knoch 40, Hampton 9 — Another romp for the seemingly unstoppable Knights.•

Mars 32, Kittanning 10 — The Fightin' Planets are on a roll.•

Ford City 19, Freeport 13 — The Yellowjackets always seem to have a tough time against their section rival.•

Punxsutawney 30, Karns City 18 — The Chucks are big and good. They've always been big, but they might never have been this good.The Gremlins showed signs of getting their season turned around last week, but they might run into a buzz saw against Punxsy.•

Moniteau 25, St. Marys 21 — No need for a detailed roster when it comes to the Warriors. One player has thrown a pass, five players have caught one and only four players have run the ball for Moniteau.I'm sure St. Marys knows who No. 5 is. That would be Kyle Armagost, who has single-handedly outgained the Flying Dutch in yards from scrimmage this season, 1,064-847.•

Keystone 37, A-C Valley 6 — The Falcons will win a game one of these days.Not this week.•

Corry 32, Slippery Rock 18 — Defense continues to be the thorn in the Rockets' side. Until that changes, it won't matter how potent the offense becomes.•

Grove City 42, Meadville 10 — The Eagles are a machine, man. They have outscored their opponents 187-27 and have had to punt only twice in four games.It doesn't get much better than this.•

Summit Academy 31, Deer Lakes 14 — This might be the most talented Summit team in school history.•

Union 20, Clarion-Limestone 14 — The Golden Knights celebrate the Autumn Leaf Festival in style.Scoop could have played quarterback for the Steelers and won Sunday.
