EMLENTON — A benefit bingo will be held today at the Emlenton Bingo Hall, Main Street, to benefit Brian Kuebler, who received a double lung transplant.
Early bird games will begin at 7 p.m.
BUTLER TWP — Members of the Butler Old Stone House Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will meet at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Stirling Village, Route 68.Participants will cruise to the Moraine Park Oil Well and to the home of Daryl Kemerer to view his collection. Lunch will be at North Country Brewing in Slippery Rock.Avisit to the home of Dave Berg will follow the lunch. KARNS CITY — The Karns City High School cheerleaders will host a cheerleading clinic from 9 a.m. to noon June 18, 19 and 20 in the school gym.The clinic is open to girls in kindergarten through grade 6. Applications are now being accepted for female students entering their senior year in high school for the Pennsylvania Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program.An applicant from each participating county will be chosen to participate in a final contest, where they will be judged on a 10-minute interview, a two-minute performing arts presentation, a fitness routine, presence and presentation and academic transcripts.
