Paul E. “Paulie” DeMarsh, 43, of Mercer Township died Friday at the Grove City Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 13, 1968, in Grove City to Paul C. DeMarsh and Joan G. Davis DeMarsh.

He was a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Forestville.

Paulie was a student at Allegheny Valley School for at least 21 years, and he graduated from the Lab School at Slippery Rock University when he was 21 years old.

He enjoyed people, swimming, singing karaoke and riding horseback. Paulie's favorite holiday was Halloween. He was an avid Slippery Rock University football fan and enjoyed attending games there.

Paul E. loved his two dogs, Hank and Gunner, and his cat, Midnight.

He enjoyed working out and swimming at the Abersold Student Recreation Center (ARC) at Slippery Rock University.

He also enjoyed eating out and family outings.

He is survived by his father; one brother, Matthew D. DeMarsh of Harrisville; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother.

<B>DEMARSH</B> — Friends of Paul E. “Paulie” DeMarsh, who died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, will be received at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessesmer Ave., Grove City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 232 Boyers Road, Forestville with the Rev. Kevin G. Poecking officiating.
