Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, hosts an outdoor adventure workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9 for participants age 12 and older. The workshop will cover basic map, navigation and compass skills, plus a basic orienteering course. McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, will be the site of Art in the Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 9, an historic bread baking class from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 22, and “A Taste of History: Dutch Oven Cooking” from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 16; register by calling 724-368-8811.
