Justin James Dow, 39, of Butler County, formerly of Westmont, Pa., died suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at his home.

He was born Feb. 19, 1983, in North Irwin, the son of Judith (O’Connell) Adams and James Dow.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Elizabeth O’Connell; and his paternal grandparents, Mary Lou Robey and Gene Dow.

He is survived by his loving mother, Judith Adams; his father, James Dow; his sisters, Jodi, who is married to Chris Dadura, and Rachael Adams; his brothers, Nicholas Adams, C.J. Fiore and Zac Dow; and his grandfather, Bob Robey.

He is also survived by his loving partner, Whitney Angeloni; his uncles, Joe and Tom O’Connell; his aunts, Leslee O’Connell and Becky Swacus; his nephew, Donovan Dadura; his cousins, Ryan (Kayla), Shane, Corey and Jaclyn; many close friends; and his “faithful companion,” Patty.

He was a 2001 Westmont Hilltop High School graduate, and had attended Penn State University.

He was formerly employed at Yesterday’s Party, Rathskeller and the Harmony Inn. He was co-owner of Fisher’s Bar & Grill in Zelienople.

Justin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, kayaking and snowboarding. He was a gifted musician, having played many instruments, and he also sang karaoke. His presence could light up the room along with his great sense of humor. Everyone has a “Dow story”!

DOW — Friends of Justin James Dow, who died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Westmont Funeral Home Chapel.
