Oesterling 90th Birthday
Loyal "Red" Oesterling of Chicora will celebrate his 90th birthday Friday with an open house and card shower at North Butler United Presbyterian Church.
Born July 3, 1919, Oesterling is a retired auto mechanic of more than 50 years.
He married Eleanor Covert Oesterling on March 29, 1946. She is deceased.
He has two children, John Lee Oesterling of West Sunbury and Sandra Kay Lintz of Chicora.
He has seven grandchildren, Kris-Ann Wilcox of Unalaska, Alaska, Marsha Blum of Butler, Paula DeRunk of West Sunbury, Ryan Oesterling of Ellwood City, Jane Oesterling and Sara Oesterling of Butler, and Janet Greeley of Pittsburgh.
He also has 14 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Oesterling is a member of North Butler United Presbyterian Church.
The open house will be from 2 to 5 p.m. July 12 at North Butler United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, Chicora.
