6:30 p.m. Monday — A13-year-old Ohio boy was injured when he rode his bicycle into the side of a car at Pillow Street and Hansen Avenue.Devin Williams of Blanchester suffered minor injuries in the crash. Police said the teen was riding his bike west on Pillow Street when he hit the passenger side of the car driven by Jennifer Hay, 46, of Butler.7:55 p.m. Sunday — Jeffrey Murray, 43, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Nancy Pritts, 29, of Butler at his East Jefferson Street apartment. Murray was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.
Saturday — Three people were arrested for driving under the influence during roving patrols in Richland, Pine and Marshall townships conducted by the Allegheny County North Hills DUI Task Force.Fifty-five vehicles were stopped between 11 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday. In addition to the DUIarrests, police charge one person each with possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, underage drinking, and driving with a suspended license.Police also issued 18 citations for vehicle code violations and four citations for not wearing seat belts.
7:53 p.m. Monday — Jeffrey Wolfe, 32, of Butler was seriously injured when his motorcycle slammed into a car on Center Drive near Seven Hills Road in Concord Township.Wolfe, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter to an unidentified Pittsburgh hospital. His condition was not known this morning. Gayle Brumagin, 40, of Chicora, who was driving the car, a Hyundai Elantra, was not injured.2:03 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Joseph Koe, 18, of Connoquenessing hit the rear of a car driven by Jessica Barclay, 21, of Mars on Route 68 at the Butler Farm Show grounds in Connoquenessing Township. The collision forced Barclay's car into the rear of a vehicle driven by John Mulzet, 55, of Evans City.Lenore Marak, 55, of Petrolia, a passenger in Barclay's car, suffered minor injuries. Koe was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.1:05 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Charles Cranmer, 88, of Teveras, Fla., and a cement truck driven by Jamie Wahler, 29, of Butler collided on Route 356 in Summit Township.Cranmer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and later flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.11:40 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Terrence Crawford, 18, of Cabot and a truck driven by Adrian Cunningham, 40, of Saxonburg collided at Route 356 and Winfield Road in Winfield Township.Crawford suffered minor injuries. Josh Giesler, 16, of Butler, a passenger in the car, suffered moderate injuries. Both occupants in the car were wearing seat belts. Cunningham, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries. Crawford was cited for running a red light.9:45 a.m. Sunday—Acar driven by Nolan Williams, 19, of Butler struck an embankment and overturned at Goldschietter Road near Stark Road in Clinton Township. Williams was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
10:15 a.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Shawn Charles Kohler, 38, of Rochester, Beaver County, and Theresa Mayer, 84, of Woodland Drive, Zelienople, collided at the intersection of West Beaver and South Clay streets. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. Mayer was issued a traffic citation.10:40 a.m. Friday —- Randi Leroy Goehring, 44, of Marion Drive, Zelienople, was charged with driving with a suspended license after he opened his vehicle's door into the path of a truck on North Main Street. The driver of the truck was not identified.9:30 p.m. Thursday — Edna Cinci, 45, of Burnside Drive, Portersville, reported her purse was stolen from the front seat of her vehicle that was parked at New Haven Court, 401 South Main St. Among the items taken included a federal income tax check, several other checks and cash valued at $1,700.
