Frank Agostino Jr., 66, of Slippery Rock and Boyers, passed away at AHN-Grove City on Wednesday, Sept.14, 2022, following an unexpected brief illness.

He was born on Aug. 24, 1956, to Frank Agostino Sr. and Geraldine Gress Agostino.

His companion of many years, Linda Rihel, recently passed away on July 13, 2022.

Frank had attended St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in his youth.

The joy of his life was his grandchildren. As a young man, he traveled, hunted and trapped, which became lifelong enjoyments. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family. He was very giving and would help anyone.

Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany L. (Steve Callen) Agostino of Boyers; his son, Jeremy M. (Ashlee) Montgomery of Grove City; his sister, Judy Agostino of Slippery Rock; his brother, Randy (Diane) Agostino of Volant; four grandchildren, Jayden and Zander Sandidge, and Gracie and Callie Montgomery; and his nieces, Randa and Caitlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his companion, Linda Rihel; his aunts and uncles; and his niece, Harriet.

AGOSTINO — Friends of Frank Agostino Jr., who died Wednesday, Sept.14, 2022, may visit the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock.

Interment will follow the service Monday at St. Anthony Cemetery, Harrisville.
