Louis Alfred Hepfl Jr. 83, of Mesa, Ariz., died Nov. 7.

Lou is survived by his wife of many years, Irene Hepfl. He also is survived by his two daughters, Terry Gallant and Anne Lee, both of Colorado, and four grandchildren.

Lou, who was raised in Butler, has been described as a great guy by many of his friends at Apache Wells.

He loved to travel with Irene, play golf, bowl and play cards.
