Drake Well Museum, Titusville, will host a lecture Nov. 21 on “P.C. Boyle — The Voice of Early Oil and the Original Anti-Fracker — and the Roberts Brothers” by author and historian William Brice. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., has opened a new permanent exhibit called “Canary’s Call.” The exhibit showcases four signature bird species, a number of other birds from around the world, as well as a flying mammal: the Malayan flying fox, which is a species of large fruit bat. The interactive free-flight show “Beaks!” runs daily at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Jan. 1; this show is $5 in addition to the regular cost of admission, which is $13 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, $11 for children ages 2 to 18, and free for children younger than 2.
