I could not agree more. I think if people would put a fraction of the time into global research that they put into uninformed blather, We would all be reaping benefits and not "shooting from the hip" about these issues.

Alcohol and marijuana should trade status, immediately. Also, tobacco should be outlawed, also immediately.

This letter almost implies that things are O.K. the way they are here in America...They are not.

Cigarettes are proven killers, even to the point that you cannot smoke in buildings, yet they are legal. Marijuana has proven medicinal benefits, yet it is catagorized as having none.

Alcohol is a gateway drug if ever there was one. It is directly associated with the worst behavior we see in society, yet it also holds an almost sacred position in our culture.

The old, oversimplified dismissles that suggest "everything is fine" offered by the old mentality are soon to be changed.

Decriminalization is more than a few "nuts" and liberals. There is a movement that cannot, and will not, be denied any further.
