2:55 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Mary Ann Haas, 57, of Emlenton, struck a parked vehicle owned by Carrie Whitmer of Portersville in a Woody Drive parking lot.Midnight Tuesday — An unknown vehicle struck a vehicle owned by James Queen of Butler on Dubois Street.4:44 p.m. Monday — An unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Jessica Hawryliak of Butler in the parking lot of the Pullman Square Kmart.3:47 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Betty Bauer, 92, of Butler and an SUV driven by Daryl Joswiak, 52, of West Sunbury collided at the intersection of North Washington and New Castle streets. Joswiak was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Bauer was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
8:22 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Sandra Brown, 33, of Portersville and a minivan driven by David Mariani, 41, collided on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Brown was cited for limitations on turning around. Police report Brown was attempting to make a U-turn when the accident occurred.7:43 p.m. Thursday — James Thomas, 20, of Buffalo, N.Y., was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.4:23 p.m. Thursday — Bryan Lee Conner, 20, of Butler was arrested on a county bench warrant after being cited for criminal mischief in an unrelated incident in which Conner allegedly punched the side of a trailer owned by Christopher Kuminkoski, 32, of Butler, causing $150 worth of damage. Conner was jailed in Butler County Prison.3:43 p.m. Thursday — A motorcycle driven by Duane Ruby, 33, of Prospect struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Christopher Giffin, 19, of Evans City while it was slowing to make a turn on Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township. Ruby, who was wearing a helmet, received a minor injury. Giffin was not injured.6:10 a.m. Thursday — Someone driving a full-size green Ford pickup truck with "4x4" on the tailgate stole scrap from the Ken Hall Machine Shop at 394 Thompsontown Road in Clay Township. The truck may be a late 1980s or early 1990s model. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.3:30 a.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Dustin Lepinsky, 21, of Mars rolled over on Kozy Corners Road. No injuries were reported. Lepinsky faces numerous charges, including leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage. Anyone with information about the accident should call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Someone broke into a utility trailer owned by Atom Corporation of Saxonburg while it was parked at a new home construction site at 2203 Shannon Mills Drive in Connoquenessing Township and stole unspecified tools between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.11:20 a.m. Monday — Someone driving a white truck struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Janice Bowser, 32, of Sarver on Route 228 in Middlesex Township. The truck driver briefly talked with Bowser before fleeing the scene. The truck may have a company logo on the driver's side door. Anyone with information about the accident should call police at 724-284-8100.
1:03 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Paul Stolitza of Adrian, age unavailable, struck a tree off Route 3011 in West Franklin Township. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.3 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Annette Gervasoni, 26, of Kittanning traveled off Beckett Road in North Buffalo Township down an embankment and hit a tree. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.Monday — Someone entered the house of James Neal, 44, at 157 Sportsman Road in North Buffalo Township and stole a large container with $2,500 in cash from the bedroom between 5:30 a.m. April 20 and 5 a.m. April 23.
8 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Angela Cogswell, 32, of Rimersburg sideswiped a minivan driven by Beverly Strauser, 62, of Rimersburg on Baker School Road in Toby Township before fleeing the scene. Strauser followed Cogswell to her residence. After police arrived, Cogswell was charged with driving under the influence. Neither driver was injured.
4:44 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Edward Wright, 31, of New Castle traveled off Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, and rolled down an embankment. Wright was not injured, but his passenger, Faith Moore, 5, received a cut to her hand. Both occupants were wearing seat belts. Moore was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle for treatment. Wright was cited for driving too fast for conditions and operating a vehicle without a license.
