Mary J. Sebock, 89, of North Boundary Street died Wednesday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born May 27, 1917, in Lyndora, she was a daughter of Andrew and Irene Kopach Zanicky.

She was a homemaker. She formerly worked at the Red Cross in Butler and was a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years.

Mrs. Sebock was a very active member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Her husband, John A. Sebock, whom she married Nov. 23, 1935, died Feb. 22, 1971.

Surviving are a brother and a sister, Peter Zanicky and Mrs. Ann Podobensky, both of the Highfield area; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Six brothers preceded her in death.

<B>SEBOCK </B>— Friends of Mary J. Sebock, who died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lyndora, with the Rev. Douglas Lorance officiating.Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery.Parastas services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
