State Police, Butler3:15 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Megan M. Bartlett, 22, of Slippery Rock and a minivan driven by James J. Adams, 76, of Bradford Woods, Allegheny County, collided at Mercer and North Duffy roads in Center Township. Police cited Bartlett for making an improper turn.

Butler Twp Police4:07 p.m. Wednesday — Keilynn A. Shaffer, 28, of Cheswick, Allegheny County, was caught allegedly shoplifting $382 in merchandise at the Butler Commons’ Walmart.Police said Shaffer was stopped attempting to leave the store with a shopping cart loaded with food, clothing, kitchen and jewelry. She is charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft.1:07 p.m. Wednesday — Robert Lee Jenkins. 59, was arrested on felony drug charges after police were called to assist probation officers who turned up suspected crack cocaine and marijuana at his apartment on Kendell Avenue.The discovery of drugs and other contraband was made by the probation officers during a routine home check. Court records showed Jenkins is on probation in connection with a 2015 conviction for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.According to court documents, police seized 3.6 grams of suspected crack that was packaged into eight individually wrapped baggies.Police also seized a baggie of suspected marijuana, a stamp bag of suspected heroin, a marijuana cigarette and two syringes.Jenkins was arraigned on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and possession of a small amount of marijuana.He is in Butler County County Prison on $25,000 bail in connection with the drug charges, and for a probation violation.

Grove City PoliceWednesday — A thief stole an Apple iPad, valued at $1,100, from a vehicle parked on the 400 block of West Poplar Street. The theft happened between 1 to 3 p.m.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

State Police, Kittanning9:58 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle struck a deer on Route 422 west in East Franklin Township. Police did not identify the driver.9:20 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Amber M. Auld. 20, of Glenshaw, Allegheny County, struck a deer on Route 28 just north of exit 18 in South Buffalo Township. Auld was not hurt but her car had to be towed.8:22 p.m. Monday — Kelsey M. Wolfe, 17, of Freeport lost control of her SUV on rain-soaked Route 28 just south of exit 15 in East Deer Township Township, Allegheny County, and spun into a wire guardrail. Police said the teen was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.

State Police, Mercer6:55 a.m. Wednesday — Kayla J. Faith, 28, of Grove City was hurt when a Freightliner truck changing lanes struck the sport utility vehicle she was driving on Interstate 80 in East Lackawannock Township.Faith, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.Daniel E. McKinley, 63, of Fenelton was driving the truck.
