Tony and Shirley Pieto

Anthony “Tony” and Shirley Pieto of Sarver celebrated 50 years of marriage with family members at Monte Cello restaurant.

Pieto married the former Shirley Gutt on April 20, 1968, at St. Malachy Roman Catholic Church in Kennedy Township.

They have two married daughters, Debbie and Dana.

They also have five grandchildren.

Tony retired from Verizon after 23 years as a lineman.

He enjoys working outdoors, fixing tractors and taking care of his yard.Mrs. Pieto retired after a 17 -year career with Arkwright Mutual Insurance and nine years with Verizon Wireless in the business department.She enjoys walking outdoors, reading, shopping and their three cats.The Pietos are members of Holy Sepulchre Church where she is a eucharistic minister.
