Regis Neff

Regis P. Neff of Butler celebrated his 99th birthday with an open house at Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course in Butler.

He was born April 28, 1915, in Butler. He married the late Averil M. Neff on Jan. 16, 1943, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Butler.

He has four children, Ruth Douthett of Saxonburg, David Neff of Chicora, Jeanne Aubrey of Butler and Ronald Neff of Chicora. He also has 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Neff owned and operated his own oil wells. He also worked for Fritz-Moon Tube and T.W. Phillips Gas Co.

Neff served in the Army in World War II. He is a lifetime member of the Moose, VFW and American Legion.
