Bob and Rita Thompson

Bob and Rita Thompson of Herman will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family diner at Rachel's Roadhouse.

Thompson married the former Rita Schnur on June 15, 1968, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

They have two sons, Bill (Wendy) Thompson of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Mike Thompson of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren.Thompson retired from the Armco Melt Shop.Mrs. Thompson retired from Nationwide Insurance Co.The Thompsons are members of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
