Kirk 60th anniversary
Floyd and Lola Kirk of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family picnic June 2 at Jennings Prairie Pavilion in Slippery Rock.
Kirk married the former Lola DeCorte on May 31, 1958, at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady.
They have three children, LuAnn (Donnie) Glasgow of Butler, Jayne (Steve) Chobot of Butler and Lisa Dunnivan of Grafford.
They also have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He retired from Armco and the Air National Guard, where he was a 20-year veteran.He enjoys motorcycles and football.Mrs. Kirk retired from Butler Memorial Hospital.She enjoys reading and movies.They both enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.The Kirks are members of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler, where Mrs. Kirk is a member of the Ladies Council.
