2:10 p.m. Monday — An unknown thief snatched a purse from an unattended shopping cart at the Pullman Square Kmart store. The owner of the purse, a 23-year-old Butler woman, said the suspect ran out the garden center doors.The thief is described as a white male between 16 and 20 years old. He was wearing a black leather coat and black ball cap.

4 p.m. Tuesday — Two people, one wanted on a warrant, were arrested at a mobile home on Lilac Lane in Brady Township.Atip led police to the trailer, where Crystal Renee Buckley, 22, of Slippery Rock was believed to be visiting. Buckley was wanted on a warrant for conspiracy and receiving stolen property in connection with a burglary in Butler Township.Police said Keith Buckley, 31, of Brady Township told troopers he and Crystal Buckley were in the trailer but would not leave. About an hour later, both Buckleys surrendered.Crystal Buckley was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant. Keith Buckley faces a charge for hindering apprehension or prosecution.Tuesday — Police filed charges against David A. Wagner, 37, of Fenelton for allegedly leaving threatening messages Saturday on the telephone of a 39-year-old Winfield Township woman. Wagner is charged with terroristic threats and harassment.
