Ellen N. Eckenroad, 51, of Red Rose Street, Butler, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

Born May 29, 1957, in Homer City, Indiana County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Eckenroad and the late Marion Fishel Eckenroad.

Ms. Eckenroad was a Methodist.

She worked at the American Eagle in Cranberry Township.

Ms. Eckenroad is survived by one daughter, Marion Eckenroad of Butler; two sisters, Susan "Candie" Clutter of Butler and Janet Kerry of New Kensington; one brother, Robbie Eckenroad in Beaver Falls; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Eckenroad was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

<B>ECKENROAD</B> — Friends of Ellen N. Eckenroad, who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Gibbs of Crossway Church, Valencia, officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Methodist Cemetery in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marion Eckenroad, P.O.
