Pope leaves hospital
Pope John Paul II waves Thursday as he leaves Rome's Polyclinic Agostino Gemelli hospital to return to the Vatican aboard his popemobile. Papal spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls said the frail pope had recovered completely from the breathing crisis that led to his urgent hospitalization Feb. 1 and that his general condition continued to improve.
