Geraldine Ann Agostino, 74, of Main Street, Slippery Rock, died at 1:54 a.m. Thursday at Grove City Medical Center.

Born Oct. 7, 1934, in Munhall, near Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John Gress and Anna Hoblack Gress.

She married Frank Agostino on Feb. 14, 1956.

As a young lady, she had worked in her family's restaurant, Gresse's Restaurant, in downtown Slippery Rock. Later she worked at Slippery Rock University as a first cook and then in the custodial department.

Her hobbies and interests included playing bingo, outdoor activities, watching sports, shopping, cooking, taking her family to amusement parks and gaming. She loved traveling to Las Vegas.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic, Slippery Rock.

Surviving are her husband, Frank Agostino of Slippery Rock; a daughter, Judith A. Agostino of Slippery Rock; two sons, Frank "Frankie" Agostino Jr. of Boyers and Randy Scott Agostino and his wife, Diane, of Slippery Rock; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Randa and Caitlin Agostino; and two great-grandchildren, Mylie and Jayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Eleanor Hook and Jean Wise; and three brothers, Jack Gress, William Gress and Donald Gress

<B>AGOSTINO</B> — Visitation for Geraldine Ann Agostino, who died Thursday, June 18, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Slippery Rock. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Harrisville.
