M. Mae Eichenberger
M. Mae Eichenberger, 85, of Worth Township, Slippery Rock, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Living Center.
Born Sept. 3, 1924, in Worth Township, she was the daughter of Charles Durnell and Myrtle Book Durnell.
She was married to Frederick "Fred" Louis Eichenberger, who died July 11, 2003.
She was a homemaker. She was a protestant. She enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two brothers, Charles (Esther) Durnell of Slippery Rock and Paul (Dorothy) Durnell of Grove City; two sisters, Donna Jean Regis of Butler and Betty Eppinger of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Shirley and Susan; a sister, Arlene Agostino; and a brother, William Dean Durnell.

Mae Eichenberger, who died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be at Zion Baptist Church, Worth Township.
