Matilda “Tillie” Milich

Matilda “Tillie” Milich of Butler celebrated her 100th birthday with an open house July 22 at the Highfield Community Center, 229 Highfield Road.

The former Matilda Heinz was born July 24, 1918, in McKees Rocks. She married the late Michael Milich Feb. 1, 1936, in Butler.

She has three children, Preston (Linda) Milich of Butler, Emily (Michael) Milich-Franusich of Upper St. Clair and the late Marsha Milich.

She also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She is retired from Armco.

She is a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian; St. Fidelis Sisters in Faith; Tanglewood; and the American Legion.
