Rose B. Fehl
Rose B. Fehl, 82, of Harmony passed away Monday at Evergreen Nursing Center.
She was born March 17, 1929, in Butler, the daughter of the late Fred S. and Jessie E. (Mechling) Huselton.
The joy of Rose’s life was caring for her family, home and gardens. She crafted many quilts and baby sweaters.
Rose and her late husband, Russell, centered their life on the worship of God and activities at the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church. She loved serving in the church kitchen and enjoyed ministering to others by delivering her homemade meals and baked good to friends and family.
A life focused on God, family and friends is a life well spent.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Brown and her husband, David, of Butler and Joyce Cowan of Montana; a son, Roger Fehl of Wexford; four grandchildren, Lacey Wilson, Shawn Cowan and Beaude McDaniels, all of Montana, and Jonathan and Casey Wright of Grove City; four great-grandchildren, Tommy and Zebrena Wilson and Justin and Carley Wright; a brother, Robert F. Huselton of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Fehl, who died April 21, 1983; and a sister, Betty Walter.
FEHL — Friends of Rose B. Fehl, who died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, will be received at
Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, Butler, PA 16002, at 11 a.m. Friday.
