Moore 50th anniversary
David and Sharon Moore of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with and open house Aug. 4 at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church in Butler.
Moore married the former Sharon Beatty on Aug. 10, 1968, at Institute Hill Alliance Church in Butler.
They have five children, Amy (Joseph) Skursky of Kittanning, Jennifer (Steven) Seybert of Chicora, Aaron (Heather) Moore of Martinsburg, W. Va., David (Beth) Moore of Elizabeth, W. Va., and the late Diana Lynn Moore.
They also have 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Moore retired from AK Steel, formerly Armco.He is a member of Faith Fellowship Church, where he is head trustee.He enjoys spending his retirement mowing and working.Mrs. Moore is a homemaker who enjoys crocheting blankets as gifts to friends and family, as well as heading up many of the children's ministries at Faith Fellowship Church.She is a member of Faith Fellowship Church where she is a deaconess and trustee.
