Charlotte A. Reedy

Charlotte A. Reedy, 65, of Kittanning died Thursday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 19, 1939, in Glassmere, she was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Deere Montgomery.

Mrs. Reedy was a homemaker and a Protestant who attended Bible study and services at Garden Towers in Kittanning.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Kittanning. She enjoyed cross stitch and bowling at Falcon Lanes in Ford City.

She is survived by three sons, Timothy R. Reedy of New Kensington, Gary A. Reedy and Scott F. Reedy, both of East Brady; a daughter, Charlene S. Corcetti of Apollo; three grandchildren; five sisters, Myretta Waltenbaugh of Kinsman, Ohio, Peggy Crissman of Kittanning, Clarissa Ion of Greenville, Avis Smith of Butler, and Sally Baker of Kittanning; and a brother, Robert Montgomery Jr., of Kittanning.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Andrew Reedy, who died Jan. 25, 1982.

REEDY - Friends of Charlotte Reedy, who died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning. Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Barry Shaw will officiate. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Butler Heart Center, 911 E.
