1:12 a.m. today - Cyrus Smith, 22, of 125 Wildlife Lane, Connoquenessing Township, was arrested for driving under the influence at Elm and Penn streets.4:57 p.m. Wednesday - Rhonda Wedlock, 28, of 577 Whitestown Road, Butler was arrested on prescription fraud charges.Police said Wedlock allegedly called the Medicine Shoppe on Pillow Street, falsely claiming to be from a physician's office, and asked for a refill of Tylenol with codeine. The store notified police, who arrested the defendant as she came into the store about 5:35 p.m. to pick up the prescription.She is charged with acquisition of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, and possession of a controlled substance.2 p.m. Wednesday - Elizabeth McBride, 21, of Butler suffered minor injuries when she was struck on the left elbow by the side mirror of a car driven by Dennis Kerr, 56, of Butler Township, at West Brady and Chestnut streets. No citations were issued in the accident.Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle between 11:20 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday struck a car parked on West New Castle Street, and did not stop following the crash. The car, owned by Angela Woodrow of Butler, sustained extensive damage to its passenger side.

11:15 p.m. Wednesday - Donald Gould, 69, of 4336 Partell St., Butler Township, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle collided with another SUV, driven by Clyde Hilliard, 78, of Butler Township, on North Duffy Road in Center Township. Gould's vehicle, following the collision, struck a cement wallGould, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for undisclosed injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.6:45 p.m. Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle struck a car at Golden City and Saxonburg roads in Saxonburg and did not stop following the crash. Jen Morgan, no age given, of Greenville, Mercer County, was driving the car.9 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Daniel Beattie, 17, of Penn Township traveled off Bullcreek Road in Jefferson Township, striking a ditch and several small trees. Beattie, who said he lost control of the car while swerving to avoid a deer on the road, was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.

Tuesday - Joshua Crissman reported that his white, 1995 Dodge Neon, equipped with a large black rear spoiler, was taken from his Mercer Street home in Clintonville, Venango County.
