2:45 a.m. today — Thomas Azzarello, 28, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Monroe Street in Butler.2:30 a.m. Thursday — An unknown thief cut off the lock of an outside freezer at the Friedman's in Chicora and stole about 48 pizzas.

5:46 p.m. Thursday — Nathan Crissman, 21, of Templeton was arrested after leading police on a two-mile chase in Pine Township, Armstrong County. Police said the chase began when a trooper tried to stop Crissman for undisclosed traffic violations. He was arraigned on a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
