Dorothy R. Crissman
Dorothy R. Crissman, 89, of Hillsdale, formerly of Roseville in Bradys Bend Township, died Sunday at the Hillsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation, Hillsdale.
Born Oct. 31, 1920, in Queenstown, Perry Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of William C. and Lillian (Bowser) Barger.
She was an Armstrong County Republican Committee Woman and a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Crissman was a member of the Trinity Church, Bradys Bend.
Surviving are three sons, Dale A. McIntyre of Rossiter, Robert J. McIntyre of DeMotte, Ind., and David G. McIntyre of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Judy Wright of Parker and Charleen Anderson of Butler; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy A. McIntyre, who died in October 1981; her second husband, Merl Crissman, who died June 17, 1996; a son, Charles F. McIntyre; a granddaughter, Jenny Rubio; two brothers, Nelson and Lester Barger; and two sisters, Georgia Tarr and Alice Pennington.
<B>CRISSMAN</B> — Friends of Dorothy R. Crissman, who died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, </B>105 Fourth St., East Brady. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Pete Sapp, pastor of Trinity Church, Bradys Bend, officiating. Private burial will be at the Bradys Bend Cemetery.
