Three Butler bowlers put together 600 series Wednesday as the Golden Tornado opened the season with a sweep of Knoch.

Butler is in its second season in the WPIBL. Knoch is in its first season.

Nick Cooter had a 625 series for the Tornado while Jacob Cookson had a 614 and Brandt Fleming a 606. Braedyn Troyan added a 205 and Travis Hoffman had a 202 in the boys win.

Kevin Hindman rolled a 229 and 198 for Knoch while Brett Miner had a 200 for the Knights.

Brea Suchonic and Nicole Balk paced the Butler girls win with series of 590 and 594, respectively. Suchonic had a 246, Balk a 222. Kelly Bintrim had a 201 and Chelsea Shever a 200.

Erica Johns had a 200 for Knoch.
