SAXONBURG - District Justice Sue Haggerty recently ruled on these cases:

Scott Ashton, 25, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, simple assault, indecent assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, filed May 17 by Saxonburg police.

Brendon Barron, 26, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed June 16 by Saxonburg police.

Justin Bowersox, 23, of 104 Lynnwood Drive, Sarver, waived to court charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and resisting arrest, filed Sept. 12 by Saxonburg police.

Ronald Brest, 40, of New Castle pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed June 5 by Penn Township police.

Nathan Frndak, 23, of 210 Lois Lane, Saxonburg, waived to court charges of theft, attempted theft and criminal mischief in Jefferson Township, filed Sept. 14 by state police.

Jonathan Gall, 18, of 6321 Old Route 8, Middlesex Township, waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, filed June 8 by Penn Township police.

Joshua Hinchberger, 27, of 202 Mercer St., Butler, waived to court charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding, filed Aug. 8 by Middlesex Township police.

Donald McCann, 32, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of reckless endangerment, reckless driving and driving without a license, filed May 10 by Middlesex police.

William McCoy III, 18, of 284 Great Belt Road, Jefferson Township was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct in Winfield Township, filed July 30 by state police.

Lance Monroe, 22, of 206 Green Acres Court, Penn Township, pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy, theft by deception and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed June 27 by Penn Township police.

William Sintz, 20, of 105 Turrano Lane, Jefferson Township, was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct in Winfield Township, filed July 30 by state police.

Domenick Stelitano, 47, of Pittsburgh waived to court a charge of driving under the influence in Saxonburg, filed Aug. 4 by state police.

William Vanormer Jr., 58, of Pittsburgh waived to court a charge of driving under the influence in Clinton Township, filed June 3 by state police.

James Westerman Jr., 18, of 312 Fisher Road, Jefferson Township, was held for court on two counts each of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct in Winfield Township, filed July 30 by state police.

Andrew Willis, 29, of Ford City, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence in Buffalo Township, filed June 3 by state police.

WORTH TWP, Mercer County - These cases were heard Sept. 15 by District Justice Lawrence Silvis:Christopher S. Batt, 31, of El Cajon, Calif., pleaded guilty to use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged Aug. 19 by state police after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Pine Township. Batt was ordered to pay $449 in fines and court costs.Rogerick L. Smith, 25, of Southfield, Mich., pleaded guilty to use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged Aug. 29 by state police after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township. Smith was credited for time served in jail from Aug. 29 to Sept. 15.Kim P. Sankey, 25, of Slippery Rock was held for court. Sankey was charged by the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control with 14 counts of acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge after allegedly using fraudulent prescriptions between May and August. The prescriptions were used at the Rite Aid and Eckerd drug stores in Grove City. Sankey is in the Mercer County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
