Irene Westerman

Irene Westerman of Cabot will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. June 5 at her home.

She was born June 4, 1920, in Sarver. She married H.F. "Bud" Westerman on May 10, 1947. He is deceased. She has three children, Judi Steele of Miami Springs, Fla., Karen Brown of Butler and Patti Gillespie of Williamsburg, Va. Another child, James Westerman, is deceased.

She also has five grandchildren.

She is a retired registered nurse. She graduated in 1946 from the Butler Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

She is also a member of Chapter 45 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.

She is a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.
