Milanovich homers make history at Union

Milanovich had two home runs in the contest to become the first player in school history to have a multi-homer game.

Billy Burns singled home Brett Moore in the top of the eighth to give Union (3-1, 2-1) the lead. The Golden Knights scored three more runs in the frame, thanks to two walks and two wild pitches by McSwain.

Kyle Hilliard improved to 3-0, pitching six innings of relief, striking out eight.

In other action from Saturday:

Josh Edwards hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning, but that was where the highlights ended for Butler in a 12-2 loss to Shaler in a game shortened to five innings by the mercey rule.
