Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre offers free shows
HAMPTON TWP, Allegheny County — Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s 23rd annual outdoor performance at Hartwood Acres will offer new family activities to go along with the free evening show.
“Ballet Under the Stars” will begin with a family picnic and free activities at 5 p.m. Aug. 18.
Activities will include dance demonstrations by PBT school instructors, inflatable fun by ELF Entertainment, themed crafts by PBT and the Boyd Community Center, character greetings and photo opportunities and a ballerina dress-up booth.
Guests can choose whether to participate in “Dinner Under the PBT Tent” featuring dinner, cocktails and live music for $75 for adults and $20 for children. Call 412-454-9137 for tickets.
The dancers will take the stage for the free performance at 7:30 p.m.
