Liquor license move gets OK from board

Ballet House move is also approved

CRANBERRY TWP — The township supervisors Thursday evening approved a liquor license transfer for a new sports bar and grill going in at the site of the former Uno Chicago Grill off Freedom Road.

The supervisors approved a liquor license transfer for the new Cranberry Sports Grille at 1294 Rowan Road.

Attorney Brendan Moran told the supervisors that owner Sean Pregibon, who has operated the former Youngstown Sports Grille for the past decade, is bringing a similar restaurant here.

The owner plans to employ 65 to 70 people.

n The supervisors also approved an application by the Pittsburgh Ballet House to relocate from its former facility in Rowan Towers to a new 2,740-square-foot space in the former Market House at the intersection of Route 19 and Rowan Road.

The ballet school was started by instructor Kwang-suk Choi, a former principal dancer with the Pittsburgh Ballet Company.

The former Market House plaza was divided into smaller spaces and now includes Advance Auto Parts and Burton’s Total Pet.
