Play at the ballet
Children fill many roles in the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's “The Nutcracker,” running through Dec. 29 at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh. Featuring more than 200 costumes, 100 characters and Pittsburgh-inspired set design, PBT's production includes Tchaikovsky's iconic score and stays true to many original elements of the tale.
