Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Cranberry Township

Aug. 21 — Raelene C. Shively, 56, of Monaca, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanors of corrupting minors after police said she took $132 worth of merchandise from Walmart without paying for it. Police said Shively was accompanied by her 10-year-old granddaughter.

Butler City

Aug. 22 — Mark P. Goehring, 59, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats after police said he threatened to harm himself and others Aug. 16.

Aug. 22 — Dana A. McBride, 59, of Smithton, was charged with felony forgery after police said she cashed a forged check for $421 on Aug. 19.

Aug. 22 — Jalissa A. Thompson, 32, of McKeesport, was charged with felony forgery after police said she cashed a forged check for $452 on Aug. 5.

Aug. 22 — Sandra Jackson, 45, of McKeesport, was charged with felony forgery after police said she cashed a forged check for $517 on Aug. 19.

Aug. 20 — Donte A. Brandon, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault after police said he broke into his girlfriend’s apartment, threw her against a couch and bounced her head off of it.

Butler Township

Aug. 22 — Brandy Huff, 43, of Butler and James Tassey, 75, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at Pittsburgh and Vogel roads after Huff attempted to turn left onto Pittsburgh Road. Police said Tassey failed to stop for a red light and struck Huff’s vehicle. Both drivers suffered injuries and were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital.

State police, Butler

Aug. 23 — Richard A. Paskosky, 52, of Butler, was charged with a felony for drug sales and three misdemeanors for possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped him Aug. 22 on South Chestnut Street, Butler City. Police said crack cocaine, marijuana, Vicodin, a digital scale and a metal smoking pipe were found in his vehicle following a search and $200 was found on his person.

Aug. 22 — Zane A. Ross, 20, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence after police said he crashed his vehicle Aug. 14 on Community Park Road, Forward Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a breath test showed Ross’ blood-alcohol content level at 0.127%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Aug. 22 — Chad W. Kolarik, 24, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a felony for device fraud and three misdemeanor thefts after police said he used a business credit card for personal reasons.

Aug. 21 — Matthew J. Alexander, 39, of Chicora, was charged with a felony for possessing contraband after police said they found a cannabis-infused tincture on his person Aug. 20 when he was taken to Butler County Prison. Police said Alexander denied that he had drugs on his person multiple times. In another case Aug. 20, Alexander was charged with misdemeanors of simple assault and terroristic threats and two summary charges of harassment and disorderly conduct after police said he pointed his gun at another vehicle in traffic July 28 on Route 8, Summit Township.

Aug. 19 — William A. Mainier, 52, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Aug. 13 on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Mainier’s blood-alcohol content at 0.117%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Aug. 18 — Alex J. Dorenkamp, 24, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors for use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped him Aug. 14 on Holyoke Road, Center Township. Police said a glass smoking device and metal grinder with marijuana residue and a container of THC wax were found in Dorenkamp’s vehicle or on his person.
